Chronicles of Naial
Fairbridge is a mid-sized fishing town with a population of about 2,000 individuals. It attracts tourists seeking out its fish, beaches, and library.
The library is by far the oldest building in the town, and is surrounded by ruins suggesting it was once part of a much larger complex. In the center of the library is its famous statue of a dragon (known formally as Udin but locally as dropnose) that stands eight feet high. Its oldest manuscripts date back about 3500 years. The library has been maintained for generations by the monks of Len’s Order. Its halls contain roughly 10,000 volumes, though some estimates put that number at many thousands more. Among its most famous tomes are the manuscripts of the great wizard Cortholomus whose mastery of transmutation helped end the War of Four Kingdoms.
